WTF? I am actually upset!
Since I posted page 61 I've lost two fans!
I'm not greedy, I don't say that I have to gain new fans for every page i upload, but decreasing?
Am I reminding them that this comic exist and that's when they remember they're angry for having to wait?
Or are they completely oblivious to the fact that there's more to a comic than action?
Same thing happened last time I started to update, I think I had over 90 fans. It sunk to 83 in like two weeks!
Doesn't people like that the comic wasn't all about action? Are they allergic to story and character development?

I'm upset.
I thought giving the comic a wide ground would make it easier for more people to get interested.

Well. For those true fans that's still around I can say: This is the way it is. You don't have to worry if you like it as it is, 'cause I'm not changing plans for a few dissapointments.
I'll always try to work faster though, it's not like I want to lose fans because they get tired of waiting.

Another irritating thing in this ecuation is that I have myself to blame, either way.
The first chapter was a lot hardcored action, anyone who turned on to that might think it takes too long for any new action to come around.
And if it's because I'm not updating fast enough, that's me to blame as well.
But really!?
Losing two fans for one new page? How did they think? "Oh no, there isn't instantaneous probability of action. I give up, this isn't for me."
Well, sucks to be them.

Sorry I guess.
It's their call, not mine. My job is to make the comic, not telling people what they should think about it.

I hope there's people here that like this comic for what it is, and have an open mind. Because I'm doing my thing, and I don't write in stone what genre this belongs to.
I hoped you all wanted to come along on my rollercoaster, but maybe only a few really can appreciate such a mix.

I don't want to believe that all I have to do is choose one genre and then I'm bound to that. I want to believe that it is about how well each part works and how well they are fused.

I learn even if I fail. So this isn't a mistake, from any point of view.

Do you agree?

Don't fret man, I've seen comics that are continuous action and frankly they stink because there's no point to whats going on. On the other hand your comic is awesome and chock full of awesome.

You should not, absolutely NOT, blame yourself for the loss of fans. Some people just can't appreciate true art and great storytelling. You just do what you want to do and screw them for not being able to appreciate it. Their loss.

There are a lot of comics on SJ that are only for the sake of raking in the fans. It's kinda like those movies that are made just to sell tickets. And chances are, they're pretty much crap. But then a real gem of a film, or comic in this case, comes along and although not everyone rushes all at once to see it, it's high above any of those that are cheap kicks and giggles. And soon enough, they receive the attention and credit they rightfully deserve.

Sorry for the major rant, but seriously don't give up on this. This is one of those comics that I truly do adore because of its magnificent quality. Don't let a few brainless idiots make you think otherwise!!

They're idiots.

I'm like korrected and neospyke, your comic is so amazing, and I love love love your art style; it's so incredible. I often come back to your comic just to study a page to take in all the detail you've put in.

Besides, no self-respecting comic is worth anything without a few pages of 'downtime' to help further the plot... action all the time is pointless without a plot to tie all the battles together, eh?

And I liked your character development that you laid down in the first part, it makes me interested to see what will happen to them all.
